  • About Daniel Juré

    Daniel Juré was born in Caen (France) in 1957. He is artist painter, photographer and writer. In his twentieth year he met his partner, the photographer Katia Boyadjian who will be his muse and model. He became a photographer in 1994 during a stay in an artist residency in Egypt. Parallel to drawing, painting and photography, Juré pursued literary work, along with several trips and artist residencies in Alexandria, resulting in important photographic, pictorial and literary works. He has exhibited his works in numerous French Museums, as well as international venues, including the Fine Art Museum of Alexandria (Egypt), Fine Art Museum of Seoul and Busan, Fine Art Museum of Saint-Peter-Port (Guernsey), and the Biennale of Tuzla. In 2007, during the  “Year of Armenia in France”, his works "Journey to Armenia"  consisting of photographs, paintings and poetry were presented at the Museum of Fine Arts in Caen (France). His pictures and paintings have entered numerous public and private collections, such as  the Arab Fondation Image (Beyrouth), Fine Art Museum of Alexandria (Egypt), International Gallery of Portrait of Tuzla (Bosnie-Herzégovine). Author of several collections of poems, books of photography, drawing, painting, Juré published his first novel “La Belle Zélie” in 2018. Daniel Juré lives and works in Reviers in Calvados in Normandy.
