About this artwork

"A Pillow for Life impresses upon us the necessity of a first aid kit ever present in our daily lives. We have designed a lounge chair made of steel; a material associated with rigidity.

This chair carries a metal pillow that makes its viewers question the comfort that we would usually take for granted in a pillow. But the hard exterior carries a soft message on the inside.

The pillow opens to reveal a first aid kit that is sunk in its interior."
