About Rached Bohsali
Born in 1957, Beirut based Rached Bohsali was first an architect and later, toward the late 1980s, he turned to visual art. He has chaired the department of Fine Arts at the Lebanese American University for over five years. His primary medium is watercolour with which he creates hyperrealist landscapes and still lives, inspired by his daily life and encounters. Light and shadow are key to his works as he depicts reflections around him. Bohsali has received numerous awards, both Arab and international, and his work has sold at Bohnams London in 2016.
