Tales of the Lebanese Countryside

Artscoops is delighted to announce a new show by the Belgian-Lebanese artist Aline Fattal, which runs from October 12 through to November 3, 2022.

Titled ‘Tales of the Lebanese Countryside’, the exhibition features a diverse selection of paintings depicting picturesque rural scenes throughout the seasons, from snow-capped peaks in Mount Lebanon and homely dwellings drenched in Mediterranean sunshine to fields spanning rolling hills in a tapestry of rich colours, edged with leafy trees and flowers in bloom.

While Fattal’s paintings are easy on the eye, uplifting in both the colour palette used and subjects chosen, her canvases mask a serious aspect which aligns with her critical view of key topical world issues.
