Yagan’s narrative threads include characters or figures whose muscular and edgy bodies assembled with their elongated worn-out faces of chronicling modern day Aleppo residents. Yagan’s paintings lead two different atmospheres, and can be divided between scenes; from ancient mythology and literature, and compositions of the morose café that hosts Syria’s alienated modern day philosophers and assortments of oppressed and downtrodden clientele.
