Curves and Holes by Zoheir Merhebi
Curves and Holes presents fourteen sculptural works by Swedish-Lebanese artist Zoheir Merhebi (b. 1991) produced between 2022 and 2025. Each sculpture is hand-carved in wood and imbued with a palpable sense of bodily memory and speculative futurism. Trained as an architect at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts (ALBA), and raised amid both Mediterranean and Northern environments, Merhebi distills a hybrid vocabulary in which ancient craft meets alien forms, and the warmth of wood hosts strange anatomies.
