BEIRUT - A Show by Haibat Balaa

ArtScoops is delighted to announce a new show by the renowned Lebanese artist Haibat Balaa, which runs from February 14 to March 8, 2022.

 

A prize-winning, mixed media artist who works primarily in collage, Haibat is known for creating realistic scenes on a wide range of topics from cuttings and clippings, including paper she prepares herself.

 

The works featured in this latest show are a fascinating selection of pieces encompassing local city and seaside scenes, alongside others in which the artist explores emotive and topical issues, including the Lebanese civil war and August 4, 2020 explosion.
