ArtScoops - The Forgotten Heroes 14-19 Foundation charity auction – November 23rd - December 6th

Based on the ground-breaking coffee table picture book, ArtScoops in association with The Forgotten Heroes 14-19 Foundation present: The Unknown Fallen – Singularity of Peace auction.

Based on 6 years of international research, The Unknown Fallen was published in February 2018 and seeks to highlight the true contribution of ethnic minority soldiers of different faiths in World War I.

Commissioning state of the art graphics companies and printed to the highest quality, we are offering you a chance to purchase artworks taken directly from The Unknown Fallen book. Blending photography with art, our never before seen images tell powerful stories of diversity, sacrifice, courage, friendship and much more.

All of our pieces are limited to 150 copies and will be numbered and signed by the author Luc Ferier. Bid on an art print and be the exclusive owner of a very first edition of the prints.

The Unknown Fallen project seeks to revive the forgotten history of unknown fallen soldiers who fought in WWI. Our images offer snapshots of a time in history when ordinary people of different cultures of the world, first came together.

If The Unknown Fallen soldiers were able to establish bonds of friendships with their European counterparts over one hundred years ago, by preserving their history, we too hope to inspire both of their descedants to do the same.

The proceeds from the art sale will go to help raise funds for free copies of The Unknown Fallen to be distributed to underfunded schools worldwide. We believe that our work has the potential to build new bridges, mend previous ones and open new dialogues. By purchasing one of our art prints, you too can become part of this noble cause.

The Forgotten Heroes 14-19 Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, non-religious organization founded in 2012 with Headquarter in London, UK, and operates without any government funding but solely on private donations.

The highest activity a human being can attain is learning for understanding, because to understand is to be free.”
