    Naim Ismail was born in Antioch in 1930 and died in Damascus in 1979. He graduated in Istanbul in 1953. He supervised a number of publications and lectured in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus. Naim Ismail held many solo exhibitions in Hama, Homs, Damascus, Ankara, and Istanbul.
