MORE FROM THIS ARTIST
The fable of "Le Corbeau et le Renard" or "The Crow and the Fox" is a famous fable by Jean de La Fontaine. It tells the story of a crow who held a piece of cheese in its beak. A fox, in search of a good meal, approached the crow and began to flatter him by saying how beautiful and intelligent he was, even asking him to sing. The crow, flattered by the compliments, opened its beak to sing, dropping the piece of cheese that the fox quickly seized and devoured.' The moral of this fable is that flattery can lead to downfall, and vanity can blind one to reality. The fable also highlights the importance of not underestimating the cunning and craftiness of others, even when feeling safe.
