About Thilleli Rahmoun
Born in Algiers in 1978, Thilleli Rahmoun lives and works between France and Spain.
She graduated from the ENSBA of Paris (2007) and the Fine Arts School of Algiers (2001).
Her work was presented in individual shows –French Institute of Barcelona (2018), Galerie Crous Beaux-arts de Paris (France, 2012), Pôle Culturel de Coulanges (France,2009), The Contemporary Art Center La Résidence (France, 2009) and in different collective shows- Art Madrid Art fair (2019), Museum of contemporary art of Algiers (2018), Ycone Gallery (Paris, 2015), Yango Biennal (Kinshasa, 2014), Zoom Art Fair (Miami, 2010), Marrakech Art Fair and Dubai Art Fair (2011), Contemporary Drawings Art Fair (Paris, 2010), Placido Gallery (France, 2009), 12th Biennal of Contemporary Art of Nîmes (France, 2008), Julio Gonzalez Gallery (France, 2008), "Jeune Création 2007" Paris.
She also took part to residencies programs –La Escocesa (Barcelona, 2018 and 2019), Piramidon center (Barcelona, 2017), La cité des arts de Paris (2016), La Résidence with the support of the French Minister of Culture (France, 2009), Residency in Sainte-Alvère with the support of the Swiss Fondation Conny Maeva (France, 2009), Casa de Velazquez (Madrid, 2009), Residency in Chamalot with the support of the French Minister of Culture (France, 2010)- and received several awards: Villa Seurat for contemporary art Award (Paris, 2018), Tribew Digital Edition Award (Paris, 2017), Award Alfonse Cellier (French Academy of Fine Arts , 2006), Award Félix Fénéon ("Chancellery of the Universities of Paris", 2008), and different awards from Paris Town hall and the French Minister of Culture.
