About This Artwork
The works of Pinar Ervardar Selimoglu, are somewhere between conservatism and avant-garde, between a historical position and modernism, between Sufism and punk-rock. She lives in the only metropolis worldwide that belongs to two different continents and combines both cultural worlds. These multifaceted cultural influences are reflected in the artist´s works. She experiments with different motifs, materials and techniques but all works include a vibrant energy and a special dynamic. Here, various colors, textures and forms are united – one might be dominated by a bright oscillating blue, another one is shimmering in a mysterious green, in a third one a whirl of colors disappears in black darkness. The abstract expressive works of Pinar Ervardar Selimoglu reveal the artist´s deep inner feelings. The work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, a guarantee, a complete review press cv and a catalog with the work published.
