Chakib Richani
Follow ArtistBorn in Venezuela of Lebanese parents, CHAKIB RICHANI spent most of his childhood and young adulthood in Lebanon, where he graduated as an architect from the American University of Beirut in 1991.
CHAKIB RICHANI has designed and realized various architectural projects in Lebanon, Europe and the Middle East, thanks to which he gained international recognition. In 2010, he was selected among the top 100 architects by the Architectural Digest magazine.
Most of the projects are high end residences and villas for particular owners, such as the renowned fashion designer Elie Saab. Richani has also designed Saab’s main headquarters in downtown Beirut and many of his boutiques.
Chakib Richani launched his furniture and accessory collection in 2005 in downtown Beirut.
Vases, ashtrays and candleholders, as well as lighting items and furniture are designed and executed by Chakib Richani; produced mainly in wood, marble, granite, oxidized metals, brass, bronze and stainless steel.
