Damascus-based contemporary artist, Elias Izoli's realist portraits (partially hyper-realist) express the Syrian outbreak and its repercussions on civilians and children in specific. His iconic style has been celebrated in the Middle East. His talent has been recognised early on when he was granted his first solo show in Damascus at age seventeen at the Russian Cultural Centre.
