Ammar Hammoud
Follow ArtistBorn in Tartous, Syria in 1989, Ammar Hammoud was destined to develop & fulfill his artistic passion as he grew up in an artistic and creative environment nurtured by his two distinguished artist parents Rima Salmon & Yasser Hammoud. Between 2007-2009, Ammar attended an art program at the International University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Damascus. In 2010 he moved to London, joining the David Game College (Department of Painting Design and Architecture) as well as the Metropolitan University specialized studios and workshops. He later moved to Barcelona, Spain for 5 years before returning in 2018 to his native city of Damascus, where he is now seriously pursuing a professional and maturing art career. His many group exhibitions in Syria include: Charity Auction at Zawaya Art Gallery (2020), Virtual Art Exhibition at Mustafa Ali Gallery (2020), Street Art Symposium sponsored by Mustafa Ali Gallery and Damascus governorate (2020).
