Mona Hakimi-Schüler
Follow ArtistMona Hakimi-Schüler is a contemporary artist born in Tehran, Iran in 1977. She moved to Germany in 2001 to study art and art education and got her Master's from the University of Osnabrueck in 2006. Hakimi-Schüler uses a wide range of media. She draws, paints, makes collages and creates space-encompassing, story-telling installations based on her own experiences and collective memories. Her works can be found in collections such as the Collection Essl in Vienna and the Piepenbrock Collection in Berlin.
