Hania Farrell
Follow Artist"Hania Farrell (b. 1965, Lebanon) lives and works in London (UK).
Her work has been included in the biennials ‘The Mediterranean: A Sea of Conflicting Spiritualities’ (APS Mdina Cathedral Contemporary Art Biennale, Malta, 2017-18) and ‘Of the Sea' - Art in the Dockyard 2016 (The Historic Dockyard Chatham, UK) and twice selected for major show 'The Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2016 and also 2017.
Hania exhibited widely in London (National Portrait Gallery; Royal Albert Hall; Royal College of Art), around the UK (The Beaney, Canterbury; Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens; Banbury Museum; City Arts Centre, Edinburgh) and internationally in Beirut, Lebanon (Ministry of Tourism; Bellevue Medical Centre; Beirut Art Fair; Beirut Art Week), Dubai (Art Dubai), Singapore.
Hania was awarded the Sunny Art Prize 2018 (3rd prize with an art residency and group show in China in 2019) , the ArtGemini Prize 2016 (1st Prize Photography); The Dockyard Prize (2016). Finalist of SOLO Award 2017; RPS International Images for Science (2016); Saatchi Magazine ART&MUSIC's Point & Shoot (2013) and also longlisted for Chaiya Art Awards 2018, Aesthetica Art Prize 2017, John Ruskin Prize 2017 and Athens Photo Festival 2017. She was twice nominated for Prix Pictet 2015-2016"
