Franck Christen

Photographer Franck Christen (B.1971) studied photography at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Visuels de la Cambre in Brussels, where he lives and works today. His works aesthetically reflect the times when they were shot and movingly burst with harmony. This particular work “Bananier” is from his Views of Nature body of work in which the subject matter is devoid from any influencing environment and focuses on the forms of nature. In 2001, Christen was the recipient of the Prix de la fondation HSBC for photography and his photogtaphs have been exhibited in prestigious institutions such as the Grand Palais, Paris (2013) as well as galleries including Galerie Tanit (Munich and Beirut) and Galerie Agathe Gaillard (Paris).
