Asaad Arabi

Syrian contemporary artist Assaad Arabi first trained in the school of Abstraction at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Damascus and then went on to become a renowned colourist. He also received his PhD in Aethetics from the Sorbonne University in Paris. His paintings explore the city through abstraction, from pure abstraction to geometric abstraction.
His works have been acquired by prestigious private and public collections such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Arts, the National Museum of Korea, Seoul and the Institut du Monde Arabe, Paris.
