Fahmi Al Qaisi

The late artist Qaisi was of the generation of pioneers and beyond and the emergence of schools and several groups in the Iraqi plastic scene, such as the group of pioneers founded by Faiq Hassan, to the group of impressionists led by Hafiz Droubi, and the one dimension of Shaker Hassan Al Said, and others, he was able to establish his experience, and although he did not study the specialty He was awarded the Diploma of Design in Carton Industry (Germany, 1965).
He was the Director of the Design Department of the Cartoon Industry Company in 1967. He was also credited with establishing and supervising the Design Department at the Baghdad International Fair until 1997. He is a member of the Iraqi Plastic Society 1972, In 1972, he held several exhibitions in Baghdad and Amman between 1991 and 1997. He also won several important awards, including: The Grand Prize of the Afro-Asian Confederation of International Exhibitions 1975, The International Federation of Exhibitions 1977 and other awards from the Ministry of Culture and the Iraqi Artists Syndicate.
