Ammar Abd Rabbo

Ammar Abd Rabbo (b.1966) is a celebrated Syrian artist who has lived in Libya and Lebanon prior to settling in France since 1978. One of the Arab world’s most important photojournalists, Abd Rabbo has had his pictures published in leading global publications, including Time Magazine, Paris Match, Der Spiegel, Le Monde and Asharq Al Awsat. 
His recent photography series span street and landscape photography of sites in Syria, France and the Comoro Islands drawing inspiration from emotions fueled by war, displacement, as well as human and natural awe.
