All Bodies Dance Dancing is an ode to life and beauty, it’s the vehicle that connects us to ourselves, our bodies our place and our community. However, in the professional world, dancers are familiar with attributes such as “too large, too muscular, too tall, unsymmetrical…” and this has to stop! Why should a girl that worked so hard give up dance dream after losing a breast? Why should a woman with extra pounds retire? Why should there be a mold with standards? Why don’t choreographers use all shapes, bodies, and colors as tools to convey dancing beauty? This series is a celebration of all shapes, bodies and colors. It’s the proof that all bodies can dance and be in perfect harmony

About Aya- Maria Nehmé

A multidisciplinary Lebanese-Armenian architect, artist & dancer.

Based in Beirut, She Channels these artistic disciplines using bold, radiant colors, to translate the vibrancy within us. In her work, She tries to inspire others to embrace beauty in their surrounding, in their life path, as well as in who they are.
Through abstract expressionist painting.

She earned a bachelor and master's degree in Architecture from l'Academie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA), where she was exposed to different textures and materials. Her love for interior design and story telling through spaces, led her to express moments, emotions, nature through paintings that she was laying in her clients apartments.
