Born in Dakar, Senegal, Claude Moufarège moved back to Lebanon at 9 years old. She started out her career as an architect and has worked in countries from all over the world such as Canada, France, Lebanon and the UK. Moufarège never abandoned her brushes. In the late 90s, she decided to give her full focus and time on painting. Her seascapes, cityscapes and portraits often draw a thin line between figuration and abstraction.
