Ramona Mansour
Ramona Mansour is a lebanese versatile artist. She has taught for 26years. Her background includes studying interior design. She began passionately her interest in paper mache clay art in 2020.
She creates sculptures ( creatures, lebanese characters, dervishes) but also enjoys making decorative and functional objects as well, that stand out for their strong colors, their contrasts and their contemporary motifs. These creations represent a tribute, an observation and a reflection on their subjects.
Through her creative process, she developed her style according to the proposed themes.
"It is this almost endless possibilities of paper mache clay forms which keeps me immersed in my artwork. I am always impressed with the way I can transform this material from wasted paper to a sturdy and shatterproof clay."
