Born in 1982 in Lebanon, Youmna Habbouche graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. She slowly found herself interested in photography, and later on in drawing, printmaking, animation and writing. In 2010, she participated in an artist book workshop with Rima Barrack in Lebanon, and in 2011, she partook in an artist residency at the Atelier Autonome du Livre in Mosset, France. Today, Habbouche lives and works in Beirut. Her current work centers on the city, the living space, and memories.
