Noureddine Daifallah was born in 1960 in Marrakech. He studied at L’École des Arts Appliqués in Marrakech and at C.P.R. Arts Plastiques in Rabat. Today, he is a Professor of Plastic Arts in Marrakech. In 1991, he was the winner of the Turkish Biennale, the International Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage, in Istanbul, and the winner of “La 2ème Rencontre de la Jeune Peinture Marocaine”, at Espace Wafa Bank in Casablanca. Three of his paintings were acquired by the Museum of Marrakech in 2003 and four of his paintings are reproduced in « Les Ouvriers du Signe – Calligraphie en Culture Musulmane », a text by Valère-Marie Marchand from the ACR Edition of 2002. In 2006, one of his paintings was acquired by the Sharjah Art Museum in the UAE, and in 2010 Daifallah was the First Prize winner at the 4th International Biennale in Sharjah.
