Artscoops announces landmark Rosevart Sisserian Retrospective

Artscoops is delighted to announce a new show of works by the renowned late artist Rosevart Sisserian.

The Retrospective runs from Tuesday, March 19 to Monday April 8, which can be viewed at the Artscoops space and online.

Born in Aleppo, the artist, whose full name is Rosine Vartouhie Sisserian, settled, studied and taught in Lebanon, painting until her death in 2016.

Rosevart Sisserian was a prolific and highly versatile artist, and Artscoops’ landmark Retrospective reflects this.

Audiences will find a diverse selection of works on display, ranging from her hallmark nature-themed oil and acrylic on canvas paintings, created in rich, earthy tones and marked by swirling motifs and patterned shapes, to delicate, figurative watercolours. Alongside her renowned still lifes, viewers will also find charming collage and tapestry works.
